Daorae Korean BBQ Restaurant Desa Sri Hartamas

This Daorae location has been my favorite for years. The remodeling looks great, but I do miss the old floor tables. Food is great as always, their banchan servings are excellent and generous. They are also one of the few Korean BBQ restaurants that offer gyeranjjim- much harder to find than you would think!

Didn’t really want to come because of all my past terrible experiences at the daorae branches. My very last experience at daorae was at the Solaris branch where I saw cockroaches while dining… food not very good too… and I did not hear a lot of good things about this branch either… HOWEVER! I’m very surprised by the food and service this time round! All banchan are so on point and I lost counts on how many times we add on Saengkalbi was great, juicy and beefy! Kimchi jjigae here is very nice, not the sweet type and they are generous with the meat and ingredients. Dolsot bibimbap also very decent but I hope the dolsot can be hotter so it can dry and scorch my bibimbap better. Their samgyeopsal is abit overcooked and dry, not recommended:) They free us a pancake and it’s actually good! Not too floury nor oily. It reminded me of a not-doughy indo bakwan. Services here is very proactive in the sense that they will bring a tray of banchan over for you to add on before you even ask for any. They also free us a plate of watermelon to end the meal:) Anyway, I’m happy to find this daorae outlet is back to how it used to be ages ago! So to whoever that had bad experiences at daorae, maybe can consider give this outlet another shot:)

It’s so good to be back dining with Daorae. One of my all time favorite Korean restaurant. BBQ was good & delicious Used to serve Pajeon as conpljment and. Ow they replace it with steam egg.

We've been visiting Dorae since ever, but today it was exceptional, especially this branch. The staff is very attentive, food was served fast, it was an excellent service. We were given complimentary food, which is a nice surpise. Overall, it was a delightful experience! Fabs! Thank you.

Brought my kid for his first korean food And boy! The dishes all turned out sooo good. It is fresh, it is well portions, the meat was soft and fresh, even simple chicken was so well marinated! I have not eaten a good Korean franchise in a while but I must say this one tops the rest! Even the chives pancake was crazy good! Service was superb ( Vin served us). 5⭐

Have been coming here for so long, we have lost count. But I remember each visit has left us with that beautiful contented feeling after a great meal. The service is impeccable and the taste impressionable. That's why we keep coming back.
